I BELIEVE THAT DANCE SHOES NEED TO BE COMFORTABLE, WITH GREAT SUPPORT…AND OF COURSE STYLISH…I’VE BEEN TEACHING DANCE FOR 30 YEARS, SO FROM EXPERIENCE; IF YOU WANT TO SAVE YOUR BACK, KNEES AND HIPS, THE CORRECT SHOES ARE VERY IMPORTANT. I USUALLY BRING A FEW PAIRS WITH ME,IF IT IS A LONG NIGHT…THOSE HIGH HEELS CAN ONLY BE WORN FOR A SHORT WHILE BEFORE THE ARCHES, AND BALL OF YOUR FOOT ARE HURT. A 2 1/2 INCH HEEL IS OPTIMAL FOR BALANCE, 3 INCH FOR BEAUTY. WHEN I FIRST STARTED TEACHING , HIGH HEELS WERE THE FASHION ,TOO…THE 4 AND 5 INCH HEELS DID TAKE THEIR TOLL…SO, JUST REMEMBER THAT, “AN ONCE OF PREVENTION IS WORTH A POUND OF CURE”.
